Dancing With the Stars Season 20, Episode 2 Recap – First Elimination

Dancing With the StarsWeek two! Last night we saw the stars and their dance partners take to the stage once again. This week was “My Jam Monday” and the couples had the chance to dance to their favourite songs. This week the couples also only had about a week to practice which I think definitely had an affect on some of them.

Song: “Sugar” – Maroon 5
Score: 32

Patti LaBelle and Artem Chigvintsev
Dance: Salsa
Song: “In Da Club” – 50 Cent
Score: 28

Nastia Derek got the highest score of the night while Riker and Allison, Willow and Mark, and Rumer and Valentin all tied for second. Noah Galloway got quite the surprise when his girlfriend, Jamie, who had been away at basic training for six months, surprised him by showing up, and Patti LaBelle danced through a knee injury. Needless to say, it’s only the second week and things are already crazy.

Not all of it is good crazy though. This week was also the first elimination and unfortunately, Redfoo and Emma Slater were sent home.
