Dancing With the Stars Week Three Recap: “TV Night”

Dancing With the Stars S21

Season 21 | Week 3 | Aired: September 28, 2015

It was Week Three on DWTS and this week was TV Night which means each of the couples were dancing to theme songs from different shows!

There were many special guests this week including The Muppets and guest judge, season nine winner, Alfonso Ribeiro.

Having another judge means the total score has now gone from 30 to 40.

After their performance last week, Kim Zolciak returned home and while there she suffered a minor stroke caused by a blood clot. For obvious reasons she couldn’t fly out to dance this week which unfortunately meant that she and Tony were forced to withdraw.

The scores for TV Night were as follows:

There were some truly wonderful dances tonight! Nick & Sharna and Alexa & Mark tied for first place with their scores tonight, while Paula and Louis had the lowest score.

While I understand the rules, I also feel it’s a little unfair that Kim has been forced to withdraw only because she wasn’t able to get on a plane. I hope that she makes a full recovery soon.

Week Three means there was another elimination and the couples in jeopardy tonight were Andy & Allison and Paula & Louis. However, because of Kim and Tony’s withdrawal, both the couples were safe.

Come on guys! Remember to vote! Andy and Allison shouldn’t have been in jeopardy this week and we don’t want another Willow and Mark incident like last season!

What did you think of tonight’s dances? Who are you rooting for?

  1. Remember: being “in jeopardy” but not eliminated doesn’t necessarily mean they were actually at the bottom. That said, I do feel like they were trying to make a point to Team Andison and team Buttercup as a sort of warning because otherwise, what was the point of doing that? I hope Paula and Louis are the ones sent packing next week. My favorite dance tonight was definitely the Breaking Bad one from Alexa and Mark!

Also I was very sad to see Kim have to withdraw after such improvement from the beginning.

  2. True, but it usually means they got the lowest (or somewhere in the bottom) number of viewer votes cause that’s exactly why Willow and Mark went home so early last season

I definitely agree! Paula and Louis and then Hayes and Emma for me.

Yes! Alexa and Mark did amazing, their dance was by far the best tonight! 🙂
