The Walking Dead Episode Review: “Knots Untie”

The Walking Dead

Sorry this review is so late! My computer crashed and me (being the genius that I am) didn’t save my review at any point while writing it. Go me!

So, here is a very quick review about last week’s episode!

Jesus led Rick and the group to Hilltop, the community he comes from. While there, the group learns Hilltop has a ‘deal’ with Negan, the same man whose men attacked Daryl, Abraham, and Sasha. This deal being that they give Negan a portion of everything they have and he won’t kill them.

Rick and the group make a deal that they’ll kill Negan in exchange for supplies from Hilltop.

This episode was up and down and all over the place. I don’t know what to make of Gregory, the man leading Hilltop. He’s such an asshat, but I just feel like there’s more he’s not telling anyone yet.

One of the best parts of the episode was when the guy from Hilltop stabbed Gregory and then got into a fight with Rick. Rick just stabbed him in the neck, killing him, and then stood up and said ‘What?’

No Rick, not what, killing something isn’t a ‘what’ situation to most people. Most of us watching though? Yeah, not really surprised.

I also wasn’t surprised at how Carl took the news of Rick and Michonne. He was so happy and it was so adorable and then Rick and Michonne were holding hands in the car. Seriously, The Walking Dead is getting mushy, it’s great.

I think the other best part of the episode was when Glenn and Maggie got to see their baby. Hilltop had an ultrasound machine so while they were there the resident doctor did an ultrasound for them. Their reactions were wonderful and I was almost in tears at how cute and amazing the scene was.

This was honestly such a great episode and I’m really sour that I didn’t save my first review because this one really didn’t do it justice.

Tonight’s episode looks even more intense and I’m hoping we’ll get our first look at Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan).

Tell me what you thought of last week’s episode!
