The couple eliminated during Week Two was Geraldo & Edyta.

Well, Edyta’s return to Dancing With the Stars was sadly very short, but hopefully she will be back next season. Next week is “Most Memorable Year” and I can’t wait to see what happens to the rest of the couples.

Dancing With the Stars

Season 22 | Week One | Aired: March 21, 2016

DWTS is back! And with an… interesting… line up this year. I’m going to be 100% honest with you, I only know Mischa Barton from The OC and Jodie Sweetin from Full House. I have no clue who the rest of the celebs are and, if I’m still being honest and going off the comments I read, a lot of people didn’t know who any of them were this year.

It’s funny. I usually go into a season of DWTS knowing who I’m rooting for, but this season I had no idea. Would it be one of the two celebs I knew? Or one of my fave pros? But after watching this first week of dances there’s no question about it, I’m rooting for Nyle DiMarco. That boy can dance!

What did you think of the first week of dances? Who are you voting for?

Dancing With the Stars Episode Recap – Week Three: “Latin Night”

Dancing With the StarsIt’s week three on Dancing With the Stars and this week it’s “Latin Night”! This is also the first week where lifts are allowed to be used.

It was definitely an entertaining night, made even more enjoyable by the videos of the couples preparing their dances and it seems that Latin Night was a big challenge for many of them.

The Scores for Week Three:

Rumer Willis and Valentin Chmerkobskiy
Dance: Salsa (With a Disco Feel)
Song: “Turn the Beat Around” – Gloria Estefan
Score: 33
Valentin ended up with a busted lip this week after an overzealous jump from Rumer during practice.

Charlotte McKinney and Keoikantse Motsepe
Dance: Rumba
Song: “Empire” – Shakira
Score: 22
There was a lot of tension between Charlotte and Keo during practice for this week as a result of Charlotte’s busy schedule.
*Eliminated*

Michael Sam and Peta Murgatroyd
Dance: Salsa
Song: “Celebrate” – Pitbull
Score: 24
Michael had some trouble remembering that Peta only weights about 100lbs as opposed to the giant guys he plays football and, like Rumer, was a little overzealous with his lifts.

Riker Lynch and Allison Holker
Dance: Salsa
Song: “Limbo” – Daddy Yankee
Score: 34
*Tied for First*

Suzanne Somers and Tony Dovolani
Dance: Samba
Song: “Copacabana” – Barry Manilow
Score: 25

Chris Soules and Whitney Carson
Dance: Argentine Tango
Song: “Dangerous” – David Guetta feat. Sam Martin
Score: 28

Robert Herjavec and Kym Johnson
Dance: Rumba
Song: “How Long Will I Love You?” – Ellie Gouldin
Score: 29
Robert had some trouble this week because of a back injury sustained three years ago in a car crash that causes him a lot of pain when he puts too much strain on it.

Patti LaBelle and Artem Chigvintsev
Dance: Cha-Cha-Cha
Song: “Oye 2014” – Santana feat. Pitbull
Score: 22

Willow Shields and Mark Ballas
Dance: Paso Doble
Song: “Hanuman” – Rodrigo y Gabriela with John Tempesta
Score: 32
Willow sustained an injury while practicing after she went down too hard and her rib cage landed on Mark’s leg and she actually had some trouble breathing during practice as a result.

Noah Galloway and Sharna Burgess
Dance: Argentine Tango
Song: “Rather Be” – Clean Bandit feat. Jess Glynne
Score: 30
Noah tried a prostetic arm, not only for the first time in the competition, but for the first time ever. However, he found it uncomfortable and didn’t like it and didn’t end up wearing it. Personally, I thought he did great without it.

Nastia Liukin and Derek Hough
Dance: Samba
Song: “Chillando Goma” – Fulanito
Score: 34
*Tied for First*

Unfortunately, someone does have to go home at the end of the night and this week saw Charlotte and Keo heading home.

Charlotte and Keo
