It’s funny. I usually go into a season of DWTS knowing who I’m rooting for, but this season I had no idea. Would it be one of the two celebs I knew? Or one of my fave pros? But after watching this first week of dances there’s no question about it, I’m rooting for Nyle DiMarco. That boy can dance!

What did you think of the first week of dances? Who are you voting for?

Dancing With the Stars S21

It’s the semi-finals on Dancing With The Stars and boy is there a lot going on!

There’s four dancers left as Tamar unfortunately was forced to pull out of the competition after finding out that she had blood clots in both her lungs. I wish her all the best and hope she recovers soon.

As for the four remaining couples, they had their regular dances to do, as well as a dance-off to add some points to their scores AND a trio dance to do tonight. So they had a lot of dances to learn.

Here are the scores for the couples dances:

Two dances down, but they aren’t done yet! Each of the couples had to choose another pro to dance with for the trios dances and boy was this an adventure!

Scores For Trios Dances:

Bindi, Derek, & Mark Ballas
Dance: Jazz
Song: “Resolve” – Nathan Lanier
Score: 30
*Perfect Score*

Score: 29

 Nick, Sharna, & Peta Murgatroyd

Score: 30

After those three dances the scores for the couples are as follows:

Bindi & Derek: 60
Alek & Lindsay: 57
Carlos & Witney: 60
Nick & Sharna: 54

Unfortunately, this is the semi-finals and there needs (usually) to be an elimination.

There were two couples in jeopardy this week: Nick & Sharna and Bindi & Derek (are you kidding me?!).

However, because Tamar & Val were forced to drop out of the competition both couples were safe and all four moved forward to the finals.

What did you think of the semi-finals?

Who are you rooting for next week?
